Study tips

So lately there have been (are still going on) exams worldwide!
In my country they are just done with the final exams, but since I'm in the pre-final year, this doesn't do me any harm at the moment. I may endure the stress in 2 weeks! But right now the teachers are throwing us to death with essays and last minut tests before the real test week starts and in that test week I'll be having some exams as well. So my problem, how can I stick to work instead off having my concentration fly all over the place?
Had some fun taking selca's after work ^3^ (it's 23.00 when I posted this)

I'm known for my super low concentration level, or as I like to call it, Sub-zero or non-Asian. So I decided to look around for any study tips because I need to do the next year really well and I would like to do this year ok as well!
My first thing I searched for: Study blockers for on the computer!
I found one for chrome, but it isn't working like I want it. So I asked a college how he keeps his concentration on his work. He told me he used cold turkey (this is a computer program! Not food!)
I downloaded the program and now I made it block my twitter, youtube and facebook for a month. These are my biggest distractions! The chrome blocker is blocking tumblr, deviantart and my most visited blogs.

So blocking things is one, the other things are smaller and help you a great deal! I always leave my phone and iPod downstairs so I don't go playing on them! And when there is a serious testweek coming up I give my parents my laptop and they hide it somewhere... This is a big step for a internet addict!
When I study I drink like a liter of tea! (No kidding, but it's very healthy!)
And before I go studying I clean my desk so I won't fiddle with the things I find on my desk, or at least less than normal.
And there was also a useful tip from my college, take regular breaks and don't go on after 8 pm. Ok I don't do the last one because I'm home around 5 pm and then I will only have 3 hours and I have to eat in between. But the regular breaks are a good thing! You have to remind yourself that they must not take longer than 5 minutes! Go do something in your room, stand up, walk around and clean some stuff up for example. This way you will get to work faster again!
Last thing, I pinn my hair out of my face and then it's just GO GO GO!

Just before Christmas I had test week and my concentration was no-where to be found so I ended up studying underneath my desk, in my brothers room and in the hallway. Some of my friends also do toilet studying until their parents get angry. But going away from your distractions works really well!

My road to Ulzzang (outfit)

I was free today as well and I had to time to create an outfit ^3^
I tried creating an ulzzang based outfit with some stuff I already had and the clothes I bought yesterday!
This is the result!

The shot from the entire outfit ( okay the shoes are not well displayed, but they are plain black heels)

The collar from the white blouse with the pink necklace.

I also wear a winged ring with this outfit I found on ebay

I really love this outfit, But I have to change my clothes again because I can't wear white when I go eat something!

My road to ulzzang (shopping)

Because my normal clothes don't contain much ulzzang worthy and I don't have that much jewelry I decided to go shopping today (Also because I am free the entire weekend so I had the time! WOOOHOO)
So things I went looking for:
LOADS OF JEWELRY!
Cute blouses with an interesting collar
Shorts or skirts
and last but not least, a blazer.
So eventually I got everything except the blazer because they were so expensive! (I don't have that many clothing money okay!)

The cute jewelry I scored! All from the six and the bijou brigitte! Everything was 4 euro's except the necklace.
But still the very cheap for some nice jewelry (yes I'm a cheapskate, but then I can buy more ^3^)

Yay I really love this blouse, it's a bit seethrough and the collar is very interesting!
And the fit is rather wide, but it is so nice to wear! (H&M, 14.95 euro's)

I was in love with this skirt when I saw it! It has a bit of the harajuku crazyness! So I couldn't pass it by!
 (H&M, 14.95 euro's)

This was a piece my mother found and she loved it to much so she bought it for me (it wasn't fitting her at all)
(Yes I went shopping with my mom, It is so relaxed to shop with her!)
This is like the first blouse, but than without sleeves.
(The Sting 19,95 euro's)

YAY shorts! Whenever I go looking for shorts I look for Sunderland, they always fit me rather well, they are cute and cheap! This grey one has stars on it YAY
(The Sting 19,95 euro's)

So this was all I bought actually. I think it passed for a day shopping! Freshing up my wardrobe bit by bit!
Now I need to go do stuff for school :(

DIY Polaroid heart

I really love polaroids and one day I got seriously bored and decided that I should pimp my room and I wanted to make a polaroid heart.
So now there is one problem. I do not own a polaroid camera so I had to do it another way.

And today I got bored again and decided to make a DIY on this super easy way to make yourself a polaroid heart without actually owning a polaroid camera.

Yes I know crappy quality film (mostly crappy quality editing, I did it in less then 10 minutes)
But you get the essentials! (Ok I was also to lazy to take down the entire thing and try to get a good camera angle)
It's just your printer, a cute program and glossy paper! (oh and some poster buddies are your best friends in this!)
How cute is it!?  I only added pictures of my friends and family (except 1 key and 1 heechul picture)

I really love it, It's right next to my door and if I turn really weird in my bed at night I can just look at it!
Some kind of photocollage is really a must have in a cute room!

Jpop My current top 3

Lately I've been into jpop again, for the same reason I started listening to kpop actually. I like the songs but also because I don't understand the lyrics anyways I can concentrate better on my school work.
Well since I've listened to sooo much kpop I can sing the entire lyrics so I don't concentrate myself anymore at the end. So that effect whore off! But recently I got back to jpop.
So what are my favorite Jpop songs right now? Here is my current top 3!

My number one is from Capsule a techno Duo!
Yes I know it's english but it's seriously awesome! One of their other songs is called jelly, and you might have heard of kyary pamyu pamyu, she also has a version of this song!

My number two is from perfume a group consisting of 3 girls which also do some kind of techno thing.

One of their songs is called dream fighter, and if you know vocaloid you also might know that song!

And my number three is from stereopony, a more rockish kinda girl band.

I found this band when reading a anime magazine!

This is my top 3 right now! I'm still on the search for some more bands, like FLOW and AKB48.

My road to ulzzang

When you get into Asian stuff it's imposible to avoid kawaii models or ulzzangs! They come across my tumblr dashboard every minute! I really love their fashion and makeup! So I've been searching for tutorials on make up and the clothes they were a lot. But being a European gives you a disadvantage as well as an advantage in this!

Look at their style! How can you not be inspired by this!?

Imidiatly I noticed the eyes are different ofcourse. People who have double eyelids have an advantage in the ulzzang eyes. Well I got double eyelids, but they are fork eyelids, so they are a lot more doll-like. But having this type of eyelid also makes all those tutorials useless because they are for single lids or slightly double lids!
But with a lot of trying I found my ulzzang style daily make up!

One huge disadvantage, the blueish underneath the eyes. I see a lot of my friends also have problems with it. Yes we scholars don't sleep as much as we should but there is also the thing that the skin underneath our eyes are thinner and you see more vains. I still haven't found out how to get rid off this! I guess loads of foundation and concealer! ( I don't use those products! Hate it!)

And then the clothes. Actually asia is way further in fashion then we are! When I'm searching for something I've seen in kpop mv's here it's almost impossible to find it! But once I've found it I notice that after a month or so it becomes so populair here! It makes me feel like a trendsetter ^3^ (Secretly I'm a copier but they don't know that!) Like the heigh weist pants, the super coloured pants (yes SHINee pants!). But also the blouses underneath sweaters, the pixeled glasses and my last discovery, Cat ear headbands!

Then there is my last biggest problem! I'm not skinny -.-' I've been on karate since I was 6 and so I'm muscular... Especially my shoulders are broad. And now I've been doing badminton for 5 years and I see the developpement of my muscles in my legs! But now I'm trying to loose some weight and become more skinny!

On this blog I want to share my story of how I try to become more ulzzang style! Because for European (as well as Americans) it's a whole different story!

Grafiti

I was in France last week and saw the most awesome grafiti ever!
I'm a big fan of art so I ran across the parking lot to photograph this and my parents were so anoying I ran away as soon as the car had parked!
This was one side of the building

This was the actual building it was on. I saw it from the road where we were on and I saw iron man first and once we were on the parking lot I ran to it imidiately and found the other side as well!

This is the most awesome painting I found as well! It was on a building and as first I was like. Whut a man there? And then found out is was an actuall painting applied with the restauration of the building!

Art is every where to be found ^3^

Small might become bigger

I really like changes, trying new things, fearing what might come out and I love adventures.
People always think changes are huge! But it can be just a small thing that keeps you from the treadmill!
Because I'm still in school and also work there is this danger to go into that treadmill so I change something on a weekly basis. I reorder my desk reguarly, and also reorganise the bathroom and my jewelry so now and then. It keeps things refreshed even though the changes are really tiny! In this blog I want to inspire people for those changes. Dare to change your hair! Do redecorate that room off yours without spending all your money on it! Put on your make up in a other way then normally! Revive that wardrobe off yours and get the best outfits you might never have tried on!

It's all about daring!
